Really good advice... #ChrisPratt

Here's a video (link below) that I saw a while back when Chris Pratt and his co-stars from Guardians of the Galaxy were doing an interview. A fan ask how many times he hit the gym, my takeaway from his response was,

"all you have to do is a few things everyday and remain consistent..."

I liked this and here is why.

A few things. Typically when someone wants to get in shape they feel like it's all or nothing. They change their diet completely and/or kill themselves at the gym for hours, 7 days a week. That's great if that's something that you can sustain but for most people, they can't.

A few things could mean a change in your diet. ie. cutting out certain foods (deep fried food, sugars, unnecessary carbs, etc,.) or adding foods as well , ie. fruits and vegetables.

A few thing could also mean in your lifestyle as well. Like adding exercise to your day, ie. taking a walk, hitting the gym, joining a sports team. Cutting out late night snacking can be an easy one.

Remain consistent. This is one thing I stress as well. People tend to stop when they don't see changes right away. They think it's not working so they give up or stray from what they've been doing. That goes for diet and exercise. Results will come. Give it time. Work at it. As Philadelphia 76ers fans would say "Trust the Process." (basketball reference)

Making a few adjustments to your everyday routine, lifestyle, can go a long way. I've always seen it as a marathon not a sprint. Just make it fit for you.
