New Year Resolution 2019


     
It's that time again, where we make resolutions for the new year. It's a month in and I'm already slacking on mine. :( Anyone else having this problem?

Every year I would, "I want to be healthy by exercising more and eating better." Pretty general.   Hard to say if I actually followed through with it. 

This year, I came up with four things I would like to do/change. 

1) Drink more water. Seems simple enough but with my job, I can go long stretches without having anything to drink. And with all the exercise I get in a week, I should be drinking at least double of what I do now. 


2) Stretch. I'm terrible at remember information to stretch after workouts. The only time I do is the next day when I'm already feeling tight. I know that I'd feel tight regardless but to a less of a degree the next day if I stretched after my workouts. 

3) Sleep more. I currently run in 5 1/2 hrs of sleep time during the work we. Weekends I could do around 7. I would like to go at least 6, if not more. A night. Seems so easy. 

4) Spend more time outdoors. I want to be more active with walks and hikes. Enjoy the nature while exercising. This year I'm getting a bike :)

5) Blog more. I apologize to the few people that keep checking my blog to see if there's any updates or new posts. I will spend a lot of time at work thinking about new entries, just need to post them. 

Well, there you have it. I believe these are specific, yet obtainable goals for 2019.
